Sentence story

This is quite and easy game. It is a sentence story. I post one story then the next person posts a sentence to continue the story, until the story ends. A person can post more than once but no double posts or 2 sentences in one post.

The story so far: Ryon floated through the sky, scanning the ground. He was not certain why he felt compelled to examine so closely that which was rushing up at him; It was, after all, only getting closer and closer with grim velocity. He noticed he was losing altitude and quickly, he suddenly shot down to the ground, his wings failing him. Directly beneath Ryon, Josh was preparing the trampoline for his kids. Ryon landed safely on the trampoline, bouncing back into the air a few times before falling down onto the black, bouncy fabric of the trampoline. He picked himsef up and jumped to the ground, catching his foot on a spring as he did so and landing flat on his face. Josh, a normally reserved and bored individual, felt himself welling up with some foreign emotion, (which he would later learn to be surprise), as he witnessed the awkward combination of man and bird flailing about wildly before greeting the ground below the trampoline with a kiss

In an instant, Ryon was on his feet, blushing with embarrassment at his audience.

Josh's family dog, not a sensitive bloke in the least, decided at that instant to latch onto Ryon's Achille's tendon.
