Platypus rock,
home of the cock
a many frilled bird,
feather mane like a frock
as circumstance has it,
he was minding his own
when over the head
he was clubbed with a bone
and the following passed
through his mind, while asleep
(forcefully so, but that secret we'll keep.)

A mass of explosions
of stardust and moons
expanded from his point
of thought (not of view).
in the wake of wonder
left by the rippling blooms,
he saw our planet form
and heard a scientist swoon.

Truth in his dreaming
translated quite poor,
and when he awoke,
with his nose to the floor
felt a wisp of fine thoughts
trail out of his head,
thus the dream well forgotten,
led to cock's crow instead.
