White Rain (PG-13)
It is the year 3108
For years, humans have been exploring space in search of new planets
that sustain life in hopes to relocate their rapidly growing
population. However, very few candidates were found that were even
suitable to build base stations with life support, let alone a whole
other earth-type planet (Class-M). As time grew short from
overpopulation, scientists developed the art or Terraforming. A
Terraformed planet is basically a planet that has undergone substantial
destruction and disintegration on the atomic level, and then recreated
into suitable elements, such as water, oxygen, and other substances
used in vegetation and animal life. Their first project, the moon Titan
of Saturn, since it yielded ammonia-water and ice and continent-like
land masses. Looking already blue from space, they transformed the
inhospitable satelite into a lush, sunny, livable environment. Sun was
redirected through a satelite system from Earth's orbit, and, being in
such a state of emergency, was quickly populated with relocated humans
and animals. Though the project was a success, and many other planets
were Terraformed thereafter, Titan's terraforming was only a prototype,
and gradually the once Earth-like blue planet became white with a thick
cloud cover, yielding constant rains. The ecosystem transformed almost
entirly into marshlands, and, being only a small, first step, was
forgotten, leaving its inhabitants to dwell forever in a lower-middle
class society where light showers are a blessing, and to see the sun's
reflected rays, nothing short of a miracle. It is here that our story
takes place, in the mid-sized city of Neo Kyoto, where our characters
look up through their glass domes at the infinite White Rains over head.
We need several males and females. I don't care what race you pick, as
long as it is humanoid and it doesn't feed on flesh, blood, fear, or
whatever is bizzare. This is a romance, not a
vampire-demonbeast-action/death movie. Any names are acceptable, but
Japanese based names are encouraged. This is a PG-13 RP, meaning NO
SEX! What goes on behind closed doors with our lovers, STAYS behind
closed doors. There will be schools and whatnot, other places of
entertainment, usually indoor, and when two people really fall for each
other, the rare miracle of the clouds parting to let the sun's rays in
will occur (yay!). Go nuts and have fun ^0^!!

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Name: Yasuo Tsuneo
Age: 18
Job: Student/Composer
Description:
5'11", Green eyes, reddish-brown hair. Husky and broad, and somewhat quiet; keeps to himself; moderately shy.
History: Born and raised in Neo Kyoto, he has been on his own since his parents moved away for better jobs on other more well-maintained planets, leaving him the household in Titan-Kanegawa Prefecture. He maintains everything through the income provided by his musical works while finishing off his senior year at High School. He has few friends and enjoys Light-storms, the rarer of storms on Titan where heavy rains are accompanied by lightning so powerful that it rips a streak in the clouds, allowing a temporarily-lasting light-streak to shine through, sometimes different colors.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Name: Mizuki
Age: 17
Job: Live/Works in backlands Inn
Description:
5'7 Red hair, she's a natural born clutz and and has an air headed nature.
Her parents gave her up to her aunt when she was three who forced her to
live and work in their hotel in the backlands (worst part of town)
though she isnt treated unfairly. she goes to school at the local high school
=========================================================
Mizuki glanced at the water dial clock and forced a frustrated sigh threw clenched teeth. Today was the sixth day in a row where she was forced to get up early before school and attend guests. Climbing out of bed with a groan she went over to the standing water that was ice cold and splashed her face. Considering where she lived running water was only directed towards the guest rooms and not those who lived there. Grabbing her school uniform she shoved on her clothes and threw her hair up in a hastly made tie. Opening the door she saw her aunt about to rap on it. Glaring she stalked passed her towards the kitchen to help set up the morning meal.
"Don't give me that look young lady this is all your fault you know" her aunt had steel gray hair that gave her a feirce look, one that she herself enjoyed having.
Mizuki just grunted and grabbed a pan and put water on to boil. Sneaking out wasnt her brightest point but to get caught and made to do kitchen duty was her view of unfair punishment.
Once the guests were all served she gulped down the sticky rice she made yesterday grimacing as it slid down her through. Grabbing her bag she flew out side befor her Aunt could remark on the dirty towels she never placed in the laundry shoot. Her feet made a taptap sound on the plexi plated pavement. House domes rose up as she ventured out of the backlands onto main street. Rain was pouring down drenching her already soaked figure, making her look like something the rat drug in. Being as her only income paid for room and board she couldnt afford a poncho and ran the risk of always coming to school water logged.
Upon reaching the front gates she raced to her first class, but being as it may her shoes caught onto a puddle of water made by some slow thinking student and she skidded forward slaming her face into the side of a locker. Sliding down she felt loads of pathetic and her face burst with color.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Yasuo awoke early that morning, as usual, to a moderate storm. Typical,
of course, but it hardly bothered him. In fact, he rather enjoyed the
rains of Titan; there was a certain serenity about them that pleased
him, gave him peace of mind. He rose from his bed at the top of the
dome, which was completely composed of a high-polymer plexi glass,
allowing him to see everything around him. Of course, privacy was no
issue since the dome was raised almost a hundred feet off of the
ground, an attribute that only the more wealthy of the citizens of
Titan could afford which provided protection against the heavier of
flooding. Pleased to awake each morning to see his favorite color all
around him, he soaked up the whiteness of the early morning sky and
proceeded to water his plants. He looked about his room, which was
completely covered in vegetation. Watering them would be a chore, he thought, if it weren't for the new aqua system I had installed. With
a soft smile, he walked over to the panel in the center of the room
which controlled the elevator to gain entry to his quarters, along with
several other functions, including the Aqua System. With the push of a
button, water was sucked into the dome through a small hole in the
pinnacle of his dome, allowing it to rush down the insides of the dome
in between the layers of glass, and into a system of synthetic irrigations that fed water to each individual plant, as well as a
reservoir for other household uses.
Yasuo's house was far more modern compared to the average dome on
Titan, possesing state-of-the-art security, solar-microwave heating and
electricity, and, of course, this new aquatic system. The one thing,
however, that he had not added to his house, was the newer styled
mailboxes, in which one's mail would be delivered to their residence
directly through a tube, something like the way banks used to accept
drive-through deposits. He still had the older styled mail boxes, which
were simply a waterproof container by the side of his street. After his
plants were watered, he headed downstairs in his pajamas and waltz
right outside without any water protection. As he made his way to the
mailbox, he spread out his arms and absorbed the cool, refreshing rain,
like a plant himself. This was why he never installed the new mail
system; his utter joy of this aquatic paradise was just too much to
give up, since most of his activities required him to be indoors, thus,
this was his one excuse to go outside and just get wet. He approached
his mail box and slid the container out from inside and made his way
back in. After retrieving his mail and going through it all and sorting
out checks from trash, he proceeded to the breakfast table where his
meal had been prepared for him by his faithful robotic companion, Maki.
He sat down just as its arms withdrew beneath the table and attempted
to wrap a cloth napkin around his neck.
"No no, Maki, that wound be necessary for a bowl of cereal..." he
said in a deep but calming tone. But before he could stop it, Maki
proceeded to wipe the water from his head and face.
"You're going to get sick if you continue to go outside without
aquatic protection, Tsuneo-dono," it replied in a robotic female voice.
"Me get sick from the rain?" he joked. "Why, that's ridiculous."
He bowed formally and thanked Maki for his meal, even though she was
just a machine; it was mostly all the company he had these days.
"You're welcome, Tsuneo-dono. I'll be upstairs preparing the shower,"
she said as a small fiber optics tube sent a light ray up to the next
level, indicating that she was headed there in her own electronic way.
"Please, Maki, that won't be neccesary; I need to get to school
early today, so why don't you just relax?" Secretly, the other reason
why he never installed the new mail system was because he occasionally
used the rains outdoors to bathe in as he did earlier, though he'd
never tell anyone that.
"I cannot relax, Tsuneo-dono, I am a machine." Yasuo chucked as he
finished up breakfast and began to change into his school uniform. "I
suppose your right. Well, have a pleasant day anyway, Maki," he smiled
as he grabbed his bag and headed to the subway.
Upon arriving at school, he was presented with a girl who had seemingly ran into a locker and was now on the ground; he then proceeded to help her up, as she seemed rather embarrased. "Are you alright, Miss?" he asked kindly as he extended his hand out to her.

A brief interlude
Name: Daniel Hunter
Age: 27
Job: TERRA Security officer, TERRA scientist.
Description:
Daniel stands tall at 6'2, weighing 240 lbs. His eyes are ice blue and his hair is dirty blonde. He came to Titan not by choice, but by assignment, as the corporation that has invested over 70% of it's funding into the Terra-forming project, Synapse Inc, needed to see how life on Titan was carried out. With little personnel to spare, Daniel was sent, and as a result hates Titan and everyone aboard it. He's been on Titan for five years, two with a partner, three solo. He patrols the school yard and the town, eyes always weary for the odd crime or deserving punishment. Since moving to titan, he has become a security officer to pay his high rent.
--- at school, will finish later. ---

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Mizuki took his hand, a bit grudgingly. Her face was stained red, which she knew, thus made her face radiate heat at what seemed like an unhealthy tempter.
Rain drops rain trails down her face giving it a slightly now blotchy complexion.
"Yeah.." She mumbled. Her bag strap refused to stay in once place, so shrugging it back into place she backed up and finally looked at him. He was quite a bit and he seemed kind, though knowing people as well as she did she never relied fully on looks alone to know someones merit. Hearing the Second warning bell for class she smiled quickly and took off like a genetic remade bat out of hell. She skidded down the hallways synthetic like tiles, the grips on her shoes weren't so well as it were and she kept half falling in her clumsy attempt to make the bell.
Finally she made it to first period Science, taking a seat at the back of the room she grabbed a note book, and plucked at her nanocomposite material to keep it from sticking to her body. The air filters kicked on in the school causing a soft hum to fill the room which always placed her in a relaxed mood. she sat there biting on her pencil, the tiny dents dotted the bottom half as she continued to think about earlier and wishing she handled the situation better. Shaking her head she continued to act interested in the subject at hand as someone next to her lightly tapped their fingers against the hard surface of the desk. off to the left some kid had their head down and was snoring lightly causing a group immature girls to burst into giggles when a particularly large snort issued from her crossed arms. The teacher droned on about the Nelson Projects that created most of the self healing domes over head for those in the middle class. learning how each brick was laid and how each plexi plated surface was forged was not enough for even the teacher to pretend enthusiasm.

[I am most pleased with how this is going already! It was initially
just a spur of the moment RP, but I can see how people are grasping the
concept of distant future tech along with common lifestyles. Sugoi! And
I even attracted another patron =3 I must regret to inform you all
though that I will have difficulty posting, as I am once again going
through tough times, including no PC or internet... T.T but I hope to
keep this alive!]
Yasuo watched the girl run to her class very hurriedly. He stood for a
moment, pondering why she seemed so embarrassed, then realized that it
must've been because she was running late for class. "Ah, people these
days," he said with a smile, and headed into his first class.
Yasuo's first class was actually one that he taught, since he has such
extensive knowledge and fervor for music. The school board recognized
this and approached him with the request to teach first block music; it
didn't take him long to accept, since music was his life, after all. He
entered the classroom and sat down at the front of the room, greeting
his class warmly. "Good morning everyone! Did you all enjoy last
night's storm as much as I did?" he joked with a smile.
"Yasuo... NO ONE enjoys this weather like you do..." sneered one of the girls in the middle of the row.
"Ha, I suppose not," he chucked. He didn't mind them calling him by his first name, as they were all the same age, and he felt no other obligation to receive such a title as "Mr." "Now then, onto today's lesson;
we will be using "Fruity Tunes Studio 6" to engineer a wind
instrument," the other students flipped up their computer screens built
into their desks, "and by the end of the block, you will all have...
uh..." He trailed off, losing his train of thought. Another student,
one who liked his class, helped him finish his sentence "a short solo music piece, Mr. Tsuneo?"
"Ah, yes. Thank you, Yusuke," he replied and went on with his class. Yasuo had developed something of a habit of losing his train of thought, and it was becoming more frequent with each passing day. He often found himself daydreaming, staring up through the skylights of his classroom, and even composing his own personal pieces instead of teaching, all the while thinking of the hauntingly infinite overcast that somehow still brought him a dark, inner peace. He never could keep focused on much of anything else, because the truth was, he was lonely. He had no friends, no relatives on the planet, and living alone with just his cyber companion Maki just wasn't enough. He used to enjoy his quiet alone time, but now...
"Mr. Tsuneo? Mr. Tsuneo?" Yusuke called his attention back for the fifth time that morning. "Are you feeling alright?"
"... yeah," he replied half-heartedly. "My apologies. Okay, everyone access the synth panel from "Fruity Tunes" and select wind from the drop-down menu" he went on, finally pulling himself together. Throughout the rest of the day, he thought about that girl who skidded into the locker that morning, as the rains poured down from the white heaven's above.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
The Class bell rang as she was just about to beat her head into the desk out of pure boredom. "Chapter 24-31 are due tomorrow!" the teacher yelled out over the rushing of feet. The hallway soon crowded with people all rushing towards the lunch room, voices of the days new rumor swung back and forth between cliques. Walking with her head held down to tired to honestly care about what was happening around her, Mizuki grabbed a tray that was recycled particles of everyday clothing and vehicle part that were deposed of,
Scientists have come up with ways to break down almost every molecular structure imaginable and reform their particles positions to help advance and keep down wastes management.

Scrambling up her face both pale, with splotches of red dancing across her cheeks, she looked frantically for some sort of napkin but didnt know what else to do so she bent over to pick up the tray off the floor and it feel down once more causing the red sauce to splatter in her own face. Blinking several times she stood stock still, feeling as though every eye was glancing at her and her embarrassment.
Scientists have come up with ways to break down almost every molecular structure imaginable and reform their particles positions to help advance and keep down wastes management.

Red Sauce Mishaps?!
Yasuo stared at the poor food-covered girl in front of him with bewilderment. He could, of course, easily tell that what had just happened was clearly another innocent accident, but as he watched the blood drain from her face from embarrassment, he could tell that she had had a "this day can't get any worse" day and that this was one of those things that just made it worse.
Whispers swarmed around the cafeteria like locusts, and laughter spread around like wildfire shortly after. Yasuo wasn't exactly popular, but he was well known, and it was expected that, as such an individual, to be generally embarrassed as well as insulted after such an incident. He stepped foreward, not caring about the spilled food he was stepping in. The cafeteria suddenly became deftly quiet. He stared down at the young woman before him, both of them equally covered in red sauce. "It is a good thing..." he began as he slowly raised his hands across his expressionless face.
"It is a good thing that they served pizza paste today, eh?" he chuckled as he removed his outer shirt, a dull red sweatshirt covered in bright red stains, revealing a white V-neck tee and a pleasant smile across his bright face. "After all, it is one of my favorites. Although, I think would taste better if it wasn't all over your face. Here..." he flipped his sweatshirt in-side-out and used the cleaner side to wipe off the young woman's face. "I'm sorry you wasted your lunch on me," he said kindly. "May I offer to buy you a replacement, miss uh...?" he stared at her softly as he pushed a button on his shirt that made it turn into a small, compact object for carrying, concealing the residual paste, and slid it into his pocket.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
If Mizuki was ever thankful about anything, it was that the person who suddenly covered in her food wasn't laughing with the other. With his help, she got most of the paste off her face, "My name is Mizuki." She smiled, though it was a pained look as she picked herself up off the floor. "It seems like i keep running into you today." She knew who he was, though she didn't seem to have any of his classes this semester. The laughter seemed to die down a bit, but there were still those around her who were re-enacting the whole scene for those who were still in line for their food. She suddenly didn't feel the slightest bit hungry and was trying to locate the nearest exit so at least she'd be away from this, wishing that this whole day would be over with and she'd wake up in bed laughing at her own dreams.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Yasuo chuckled as he helped Mizuki to her feet. "It seems that we do," he replied with a smile, "but I haven't seen you in any of my music classes. Perhaps I could interest you in a lesson some time?" Yasuo was slightly shocked that he asked such a direct question about something of that nature. Additionally, he had already asked her if he could buy her lunch, after spilling some of it on him no less, and he had been thinking about her all day. What's wrong with me? he thought. Before he could ascertain his unusual attitude towards her, he found himself already guiding Mizuki back towards the lunch line with every intention of buying her lunch. "So, would you mind if I, uh, bought you lunch today, Mizuki-chan?"

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Mizuki glanced longingly in the opposite direction, the exit looked so welcoming, which was sort of amusing to be thought of in that way. Suddenly the floor seemed to be more interesting than before and she kept a steady eye on it. When they reached the table she slide down into the seat nearest her and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "A lesson? " To be honest taking another class wasn't one of the top things on her "To Do List" but she did end up embarrassing them both publicly and he was nice enough to offer to buy her lunch and all the while not see horribly annoyed with her. "I would love that" she said trying to at least get the "please god let me melt into the floor" look off her face. To his last question she said yes, and slowly the awkwardness around him started to fade as her curiosity about him grew.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Upon sitting at the table, Yasuo proceeded to engage in basic
conversation. "So, what other classes are you taking right now?", "What
grade did you say you were in?", "Do you think what they serve at this
cafeteria is even food?" were a few questions among the many that he asked. As they spoke, he began to unwrap certain food items and dispose of their wrappings down the narrow refuse slot that was extended across the center of the table. He hadn't had a conversation with, well, anyone, in a long time, so long he couldn't even remember. Of course, there was Maki, his robotic house keeper, but she was hardly someone to have a conversation with, being only a machine with no feelings or thoughts of her own, only what she was programmed for. As much as technicians and scientists tried, a machine was still a machine, no matter how intricate the algorithms were for artificial intellegence.
Yasuo often thought of himself as a machine sometimes; as if sometimes he didn't have emotions or thoughts either. Perhaps that was why he had seemed fulfilled with his lonely, quiet lifestyle. But now, there seemed to be this new spark - a small flame, even - as he spoke to Mizuki, something he had never felt before. Yes, a flame; he thought. A flame as red and as vibrant as her crimson hair...
Yasuo shook his head to once again purge it of any such thoughts. It just wasn't like him to feel this way. To feel? he thought to himself. I barely even know the definition of the word. To feel for me... is like to see the sun on this planet...
Despite all his attempts to control his thoughts and emotions, he continued to admire her scarlet hair as they conversed.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Mizuki answered his questions, and she was soon enjoying sitting there talking to him, now that the whole lunch room found another scandel to laugh about, apparently a teacher and a teacher's aid were found in a questionable position in one of the janitors closets, she felt less self concious about everything and slumped a bit in her chair, playing with the food, more so than eating it, she smiled to herself when it seemed there wouldn't be an awkward silence. Happy to just sit there she noticed that his gaze kept drifting, figuring that she was most likely boring him to tears she looked at the clock and noticed the hands were close to the time when they were to be let out of the confining room to the rest of their classes. She wished she could make time slow down, for she didn't want to really go to the rest of her classes and even though he was probably dying slowly inside with how dull she could be, she was enjoying herself a bit. Finally the bell rang and she got up, slinging her bag onto her shoulder she glanced at him wondering how to thank him for buying lunch and everything. Though it seemed when she was about to open her mouth she found she really didn't want to say goodbye or anything meaningless to the fact. Frowning slightly she noticed how she really didn't want to stop talking to him and wished she could ignore her responsibilities and just sit here for awhile longer. Mentally she shrugged the thought away, not even wanting to examine it. "Thank you for everything Yasuo, uhm when did you want to do this lesson?" she asked, though thinking about another lesson made her head ache she was just glad that she might spend a bit more time with him if she went.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Yasuo jumped slightly as the bell rang. He was so deep in conversation, he had almost completely slipped into his own little world, and the loud ring of the lunch bell shocked him back to reality. A wave of light despair washed over him right after as he knew that his conversation with his new friend would have to end. "Uhhm-" he stuttered, trying to gather his thoughts as quickly as possible; he really wanted to see her again, and maybe even show her the magic of music. "Mizuki-san, if you're not, uhm, doing anything after school today, maybe you could bing swy-" his face turned bright red from his seemingly catastrophic dislexic moment. "I-I mean... 'swing by'... the music room... if you like..." he smiled again, still red-faced. "I would love to see you there again." Yasuo waited for a response, despite the haste the other students excersied to leave the cafeteria for their next class.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Mizuki scrambled up gathering her things and pushing her tray towards
the middle of the table where it would be recycled later. Realizing she
should have left earlier, considering her last class was near the end
of the building, she glanced at those rushing towards the exits in
organized chaos. She forced herself to not laugh as he blundered his
sentencing, though wasn't able to keep the smile off her face, "I
would like that." she spoke her last words in a rush as she started
towards the exit only looking back once with the dumb grin still
attached to her face.
Finally she was able to find a hallway
that led to her last class, World History, to be exact and she rushed
down running straight into her teacher knocking down the books he held.
Mumbling apologies she helped him pick up his belongings, his look of
exasperation caused her to cringe slightly, she wasn't in the habit of
abusing her teachers, but she still felt bad. Finally with all his
things picked up, and even though she was technically on time to class,
she was still written up for being outside the door when the last bell
rang. Mumbling she ambled down to the last seat near the back and took
out her books, realizing that she had the wrong set of books and her
homework, was ironically, left in her nightstand, at home. Groaning she
placed her head into her hands, receiving detention for tomorrow for
her late assignment, considering it was close to exam time and she
seemed to be getting on his nerves.
The day ended with her having to share a text book with the person next
to her, a well known bully who seemed pretty upset when she was leaning
over to look at the page her teacher was talking about, and tipping her
desk into his causing his to fall over side ways. She started to wonder
how she could do half the things she did today with there being gravity
and all. Finally the bell rang, and as people rushed towards the door,
she avoided her "partner" in class like the bubonic plague they learned
about last week.
Finally, after reaching her cubical in once piece, she put all her
school related items that she didn't need away, and gathered some
materials for her homework projects and headed out the doors. She then
remembered her promise to meet Yasuo after school, and turned right around with a defeated sigh and headed towards the back of the building. She didn't see him right away and was hoping he remembered also, considering she would rather be at home crawling under the covers and refuse to reemerge until the next century or so has come to pass.

A Melodic Entrancement
"I would like that" he heard her say as she hurried out of the
cafeteria, brandishing an almost entrancing grin. Yasuo stood for a
moment in the cafeteria as it emptied, and a moment more once it was
completely vacant. Slowly, he closed his eyes and raised his right
index finger into the air. Silently, he began to conduct an invisible
orchestra, playing an unheard symphony. Then, he began to hum his
imaginary tune, slowly bringing it into reality.
The lunch administrator for the next lunch block entered the room
and approached him with a puzzled look on his face. "Yasuo," he
started, knowing him as a student teacher, "don't you have a class to
get to, son?"
Yasuo continued to hum, seemingly ignoring the man at first. Then
he turned to him as he opened his eyes. "Yes..." he whispered softly.
"I hear it now..." The administrator scratched his head for a moment,
and just as he was about to ask what he was talking about, Yasuo read
his mind and answered: "Oh, I was writing. My apoligies; yes, I must be
on my way, thank you." Yasuo turned and headed out of the cafeteria
just as the crowds of students poured in for the next lunch period.
"What were you writing?" the administrator called back to him.
"A feeling," he called back. "A feeling, manifesting deep within
my soul..." he finished that sentence more quietly, and hurried to his
next class.
The day seemed to fly by as Yasuo built his seranade in his mind,
barely paying attention to his classes. History became the soft pound
of piano hammers on their delicate strings, Math became Music Theory,
and English became an assortment of synthetic instruments, and before
he knew it, school was over, and it was time to bring his piece to
life. Yasuo entered his music room at the school, fulfilling his
afternoon duty to assist his students with afterschool help, but as
usual, his room was vacant. All the better to get started, he
though. He went into the back room and sat down in the center of a
great terminal, surrounding him with numerious keyboards, and at the
center stood a computer screen for editing and recording. He flipped on
a master switch, and everything came to life, illuminating the
mid-sized room with LED's and computer screen lights. He sat for a moment, silently replaying his tune in his mind. Then, with an almost magical touch, brought his piece into reality as he spread his fingers and pressed down on two seperate keyboards. He kept playing on in solitude as he waited for his new friend to join him for her first lesson in Music.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
She stood by the back door of the building, slightly frustrated when she heard what sounded like a live orchestra playing. Standing very still she listened to it for a full minute before she came back to herself. Frowning slightly, she placed her hand on the warm handle, half expecting the door to have been locked from the inside, and pulled towards herself. The door swung open with a graceful ease and she walked into the dim lighting.
The first thing she noticed was the lack of people, what she heard outside completely contradicted what she saw, not having been introduce to much of today's technology, considering she lived on the far side of the city, she was puzzled more so by this when she noticed a single man was in the room. Walking further into the building the door closed with an audible click. "Hello?" She spoke, and what seemed like a soft echo of her voice bounced back among the melody of music. "Yasuo?" a bit intimidated she walked up till she was behind him, her arms hugging her bag to her stomach more out of a nervous habit than by anything else. The sounds continued to wrap itself around her, and she felt chills rush up and down her spine.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Yasuo continued to play as Mizuki called his name. He was indeed aware of her presents, but he simply couldn't stop himself; he was in a trance, and he also wanted Mizuki to experience the same feelings he had at this very moment. The feeling of sound itself. Perhaps, he though, if I show her my world of music now, like this, then maybe she'll be more inclined to learn its ways with me. He began smiling ear to ear with sheer joy as he played on. That would be most splendid! Wonderful! And even... his feelings finished his thoughts for him as his symphony picked up at its next segment.
Suddenly, a small blip appeared on his screen, indicating an oncoming Light-Storm, but he played on, bringing sublimity into being, completely oblivious to the storm's increasing warnings.

Mizuki stood behind him while her thoughts drifted along with the music, she felt her body tingle with some unknown feeling as she heard the crescendos build up and release in a flood of harmony, she tried to imagine each parts individually but they blended so well together she gave up the act and closed her eyes as wave after wave of melodies washed over her senses.
Finally she opened her eyes and finally got a better look at Yasuo without feeling his gaze on her as well. Suddenly a blush burned her face, though why she didn't really know.
"Uhm Yasuo? Is this a bad time?"
(gaaaah im sorry it's like horribly short o.o;)

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Yasuo finally finished his symphony, and turned to face Mizuki. He
smiled as he held his arms up in a presenting manner as he spoke. "Not
at all! I'm glad you decided to come, Mizuki-san. Welcome to the Halls
of Music!" He stood up and slowly made his way into the large
auditorium. "Come, let me show you around," he said as he headed for
his first exhibit.
He flipped a switch that turned on a computer which displayed a plain
white screen with black lines stretched across it. "This computer's
sole purpose is for learning about and writing on Sheet Music; though
we don't use it very much these days now that everything is done with
computers, it's always great to know where Music Theory originated. Did
you know that music is a universal language? I mean, if I write
something on this and give it to someone who speaks french, they'll
know exactly how to play it! Given, of course, they themselves
understand sheet music. And over here," he took her hand and lead her
to another computer, much larger than the first, along the wall
perpendicular to where they were. "This machine is a server that holds
thousands upon thousands of instruments, from snare drums, to pianos,
to cow bells... even synthetic instruments! I mean, the possibilities
are endless!! And this over here," he took her hand once more and lead
her to a large flat panel built into the floor in the frontal center of
the large room, his excitement continuing to build.
"This fascinating machine simulates various instruments with a
holographic projection, ranging from anything in between drums,
guitars, flutes, trumpets, violins... heck, even bagpipes! And, of
course, my personal favorite," he flipped the machine on, displaying a
large keyboard across the floor. "A piano. Look, you can just dance on
the floor here to make music!" he exclaimed as he started to play
Mozart's "Turkish March" on the illusionary instrument. "Haha, this
really brings music and dancing together, huh?" he beamed as he began
to increase his pace. Faster and faster, he became a whir as his
excitement simply went out of control. He began to match the music with
his voice as he played, "Do-do-doo, do-do-doo,
do-do-do-do-do-do-do-doo..." Of course, his showing off became a little
to much as he lost total control of the tempo towards the start of the
bar. "Do-da-do-da-do, do-da-do- whooa...!" he tripped over his own feet
and went sprawling into Mizuki, toppling her over backwards and sending
her into the soft matted floor - matted, of course, to prevent an echo
while students practiced - with himself landing on top of her, face
down.
Ba-DUMP! he could feel his heart throb heavily in his chest with
embarrassment as his face turned completely red. Oh God! he though. What've I done? What have I... his thought were cut off by the uncommon stimulus of his eyes. Staring into her own eyes,
unintentionally, he started to feel warm and flustered. He noticed the shape and coloration of her irises, and how they seemed to sparkle in the dim indigo light of the holograph on the floor. Her hair flowed about her head, face and shoulders, like a sea of crimson silk. Studying inch after inch of her mesmerizing face, he finally came to her small, tender pink lips, slightly parted as she breathed, and he felt his heart just race out of control as he felt her breath upon his face. He slowly retraced his steps back up to her eyes as his feelings finally transformed into intelligible thoughts. She's... gorgeous...
Gulp! he swallowed hard as he attempted to build some kind of sentence, some phrase, to say to break the deafening silence that had suddenly surrounded them. "Ahh... uhh... I-I'm..." he struggled, still breathing heavily from his act on the hologram, as well as his sudden feelings affecting him now. "I-I-I'm... so suh-sorry... I..." He squeezed his eyes shut and finally came up with something quick and clever to say. "Heh, I guess it was my turn to fall onto you this time..." He smiled with a soft, caring face, still oblivious to the storms increasing warnings. The sky above them began to darken as the rains fell increasingly heavier upon the school building.
smiled as he held his arms up in a presenting manner as he spoke. "Not

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Mizuki was a bit over whelmed when he started speaking of the equipment but his obvious enjoyment of sharing his knowledge with her caused a smile to tug at the ends of her lips.
Her fingers tingled when he grabbed her hand and ushered her around the room with exuberant enthusiasm. While he spoke she walked a few paces ahead of him slightly to run her cool finger tips across the hard surfaces of the machine, with wonder apparent on her face as he explained all the sounds and musical instruments it could play.
Laughing she watched him dance "Yes, I can see what you mean." her body itched to dance along with him on the piano fashioned floor. She felt slightly foolish in doing so but she mentally shrugged and started to clap along with his dancing, slightly fascinated that someone can completely let loose and show another their passion for the musical art.
Her attention was caught by something near the equipment and was about to remark on them when she turned her attention back to him for a split second, and then suddenly the world seemed to be tilting. His body fell into hers causing her to fall over with a dull thud, she waited a few moments expecting to feel pain when her head hit the matted floor but when her senses detected that there was nothing wrong with her she opened her eyes and stared at his, which seemed to blot out the world. Her breathing quickened as her heart began to accelerate.
"Heh, I guess it was my turn to fall onto you this time..." Yasuo spoke, a quick laugh escaped her as she closed her eyes with the beginnings of a blush forming over her skin. She felt his elbo in her side as her breathing seemed to become erratic. She wanted to place her fingers tips on his cheek but resisted the urge as the sudden down pour seemed to finally reach her ears. She dragged her gaze away from his face as she looked up near the ceiling as if she could see the storm that raged outside the building walls. A slight frown formed on her face as she started to say "What.." her voice trailed off as a sudden sound seemed to ring through the room as though an emergencey has occured. The sound seemed to echo with the rooms dynamics which caused it to amplify and a sudden ringing filled her ears.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
Yasuo jumped at the sound of the godlike thunder that clashed just over head. His sudden lurch also drove him off of Mizuki with a bit of frenetic motion. Then, he began to calm down and gather his thoughts, and after removing himself from her, he slowly rolled over onto his back and stared up at the skylights with her at the sudden downpour. Rain... he thought to himself as he lay close to Mizuki. Such is nature's most life-giving event. He stared at the rain a moment longer, then turned to face Mizuki, once again drawn to her innocent, angelic face. "Such beauty..." he began, then suddenly became embarrased again and corrected himself. "Ahem! ... the rain, that is..." he looked to the side for a moment and blushed, then returned his gaze to her once more. "Thank you, for coming to see me after school," he spoke quietly since he was so close to her, and smiled lightly. "I guess you could say that... you've really made my day."
Ka-ka-ka-krash!! The sound of the clouds being ripped asunder by a heavy lightning bolt drew his attention to the sky again. "Whoa, that's no ordinary storm..." he remarked. Finally, the bliping sounds of an emergency storm warning caught his attention from across the room. He jumped up and ran over to his computer terminal to get the details. "Ah, as I thought - a Light Storm." He turned to face Mizuki again. "One of the mose dangerous storms we have here on Titan. If one of those bolts hits you on your way home..." another thunder crash made him jump again. "W-well... need I say more? Heheh..." He shut his computer down and began preparations for surge protection for everything in his music room. "Do you live far? My place is only a couple blocks away, and is outfitted with state-of-the-art grounding protection. We would be safer there rather than here, if you wish to make a run for it with me," Yasuo shut down his last piece of equipement and awaited her response before shutting off the lights.

Re: White Rain (PG-13)
As the lights went off she felt a chill dance down her spine. Chewing her lower lip for a few seconds she considered how much trouble she'll get in for not coming home directly. Having to work with your parents as your employer was not the best of things, considering you could rarely call in a sick day. A loud crash filled the air once more causing her to jump slightly.
Her face was still flushed from moments ago and her nerves seemed to be raw and exposed. But she also figured it would be safer with him than facing her parents. "Sure." though her voice was filled with uncertainty she tried to find her way in the dark towards to door. Not knowing the layout of the room so well she ran into a metal object that seemed to cut into her skin. Wincing she backed away trying not to say the things that instantly came to mind.
