Stirring of the Night Empty Stirring of the Night

Your voice is not obscured by the sound of many others
or the stirring of the night, like liquid in a glass.
I hear beyond conversation, within the depths of a song.
All other noises simply pass.

I could hide myself inside your voice tonight,
lose myself in you and that clear tone.
But as night ends and I become a sleeper,
I find myself without that voice
alone.

I don't truly understand the entirety of your meaning with this piece.

But I do get your description of some person(thing?) that draws you in with their words.

And you find yourself entranced with them, adoringly affixed.
