The Ninja and the Pirate

For years these troubled two did fight,

From yonder day break,

To distant night,

Watched by onlookers,

Totally unaware of their plight.

For the ninja had stolen the pirates buried treasure,

And the pirate? Well let’s just say he was a nasty sprite.

On and on,

Til out of sight,

Did the brigands continue to fight,

Til one day they stopped.

And dropped their weapons,

Why?

It just felt…right.
