The Habitation

Howdy folks,

Here's the quick update, since I'm about to run off to work:

I'm getting a divorce, I'm happy with actual love elsewise, and I'm considering a revamp of these forums, to make them live again.

I'll let folks be the input, of course... if any of you are still about.

Greetings Inhabitants,

I'll be, along with the missus, taking a trek down to Disney World for the week.
If you feel so inclined, enjoy yourselves while I'm away, perhaps start up an impromptu contest?

There may be rewards for those who PM me of their good deeds regarding the habitation whilst I am absent.

Habitation signs out in the world! (Oh yea, I dare you, take pictures!)

I hope to see something crazy when I return, and Abbas, that doesn't mean turn the whole site pink.

I have been quietly working to revitalize the Habitation, but we need our members back, and active.

To solve this problem, I'll be making a few changes.

For starters, your profiles have been updated to a new, more interactive and visually appealing version, I hope you like it. Alongside this change, I intend to bring a brand new writing contest, since we've been lacking in them for months!

Stay tuned. The Habitation will not flounder!

EDIT: I have recently added a reputation point system which allows members to acquire points based on where they post/create topics. It is currently balanced to encourage the posting and commenting of poetry and other writes.

I have also enabled the upvote/downvote system. This will keep track of your post quality based on how others regard it. I may restructure it for use only with writings and crit, which may help you judge your level!
