It was good up until the screaming. I can stand different types of vocals, but screamo and death grunts/howls I can't stand. They completely ruin a song.

The intro was good, though, before they started singing. Hehe, cello and violin.

Korpik-fuckin'-laani! I am going to have to brutalize you for spelling Korpiklaani wrong, but, we'll get to the detals later Razz Korpiklaani is a great pub band, if you're drinking beer and fighting, they're the band to go to, because really, no one beats the Norwegians for making Folk songs that make you want to drink and fight. Other titles to check out in this genre, Finntroll, Moonsorrow Smile

The song I would be listening to would be...

Knight of Immortal Fire - Luca Turilli

Make sure you remember that it is Luca Turilli, and not Luca Turilli's DreamQuest, both COMPLETELY different bands. His solo project is Celtic Folk, and his side project is Symphonic Gothic Metal.

I knew Alestorm and Kamelot before they got really mainstream (They're mainstream here) which was a long time ago. Eluveitie, funny you should mention them, David and I only found them three weeks ago. They are quite awesome.

Also, coincidence, I am also listening to Inis Mona, hahaha.

Laila - Agitation Free

This is a song from a live performance album called "At the Cliffs of River Rhine". It sounds rather like a well organized jam session. The intro and conclusion of this ten minute instrumental are spectacular.

Krautrock ftw.

To Erin and Heulyn: I'm guess, without looking any of those names up, that they are probably metal bands. Am I correct?

Yeah, they are ^_^
A variation of metal, but metal nonetheless.

Haha, did everyone just forget the rules? I mean, come on, I've been obeying. You've gotta provide input on other people's songs, you can't just say, "I'm listening to this", hahaha.

In protest, I will just say that I am listening to the classic: Rocka Rolla, who by? You should all know, Judas Priest... Like, retro, retro first ever song Judas Priest.

Just for the record.....
I obeyed the rules when I posted who I was listening to.

And, since I am not listening to anything right now, I won't comment on Judas Priest. LOL don't even get me started on Judas Priest.

Night Flight - Affinity (from Affinity, 1970)

To Erin:
I listened to "Rocka Rolla". It sounds like a collaboration between David Bowie, Rod Stewart, and early Queen, in my opinion. I've never heard anything by JP before, so this is the first time I've heard one of their songs. It's really good, but I just feel the song could have been executed better with a slightly faster tempo.

(Sorry about earlier, I forgot to reply a few times.)
